3D Printed D20 Tiles STL - Courier

After some experimenting printing D20's in one go on my FDM machine, I was never happy with the quality of the faces that weren't perfectly horizontal. The 1 and 20 were good, but the rest. Not so much. The balance too, felt like it was always going to favour the orientation in which it was printed.

So leveraging the print quality of a face pointing straight up, and a little bit of time in front of the TV with CA, 5 minute epoxy, and some sandpaper, a far cleaner D20 can be made, either for display or from my experience, LOUD CLATTERY play.

Recommended printing settings:

The dice pictured were printed at 0.2mm layer height using PLA.

The numbers were printed face up for clarity, but face down will work on a properly levelled bed.

Walls: 1.2mm

Top/Bottom: 1.2mm

Infill: 12%

Current faces are scaled at 35mm on an edge to allow for super clear numbers on a 0.4mm nozzle.
